Condition & Printing technique

Condition:
In the case of posters, especially older sheets, a different standard is applied when assessing the condition than is usually the case with prints. For this reason, the condition is still designated as "A" even if the sheet shows, for example, minor creasing, minimal soiling or small tears outside the image.

A = poster in good condition. Image fully preserved. Folds and small tears at most in the margin.
B = poster image fully preserved. Wrinkles and tears possible.
C = poster restored.
aJ = Mounted on Japan paper.
aL = Mounted on linen.
aF = mounted on foil.
